v0.12.0
Farewell Vault v0.12.0
This release adds private letters, voice messages and photo memories, extends personal planning, and improves protected sharing, video messages and account tools.
Personal planning and memories
- Prepare private letters, voice messages and photo memories with a personal story.
- Record funeral preferences through 20 optional questions, review a concise summary, and print it when you choose.
- Continue or restart life-story work with a simpler interview, add private notes to planning tasks, and find more helpful next-step guidance.
Video messages
- Edit supported video messages in your browser and save the result as a new private message. The original and its existing shares are preserved; browser and device support are checked before editing.
- Prepare protected delivery through named trusted contacts and manage video and photo-memory sharing together. Accepting the task alone does not give a contact access to private content.
- Choose how a share link is protected, manage authorized email addresses, and delete video messages with confirmation.
Accounts and guidance
- Find clearer account and administration areas, including confirmed account deletion and protected share management. Administrators can manage the public explainer video.
- See more helpful page-loading feedback, improved English-language text and clearer information on the public home page.
Trust and privacy
- Last wishes and funeral answers remain in your private account area.
- Trusted contacts must use the protected confirmation process before any prepared video handover takes effect.
- Updated application and delivery safeguards used to protect sensitive workflows.
